This is our list of those tools we consider the best value for the money.

We have accepted no compensation for them to be placed in our “best” list. They are simply, in our humble opinion, the better valued tools we are familiar with. This does not mean that any other item we have listed is less worthy, or that those we list are better than some other we are not familiar with. These are those we have tried and we trust. This list is subject to change as new programs are released or should we discover an unknown factor that causes us to change our opinion.

Website Magazine tops our list of “Best Tools” due to the fact that it is a legitimate magazine that will be mailed to your door FOR FREE. The articles are filled with valuable information and though there is some fluff and advertising (we take no points away for finding a way to pay the bills), the magazine is a valuable tool in your arsenal to make money and the issues serve as great reference material. If you do nothing else, subscribe to this publication.

xSitePro

xSitePro is a website building program that is very user friendly and allows simple insertion of those items that allow for visitors to become more engaged with your site, such as video and audio. Offering colorful template designs, this is a website builder that most should find compatible with their needs.

phpBay

phpBay website builder makes our list because of the compatibility of the program for use with Wordpress. Wordpress (which our ATR site is based on) is a blogging program that allows the webmaster to continually add unique content to his website, and using phpBay as the “store” option (providing users with eBay items) creates a seamless transistion. Requiring some slight technical knowledge, it can be learned fairly quickly with help in their forum area.

Build A Niche Store

Build A Niche Store (BANS) website builder will always have a warm place in our heart, as this program was one of the first we tried and it opened up a world of profit when we optimized our eBay affiliation using BANS. The BANS forum is the backbone of the program, with members always willing to assist those who have no knowledge. BANS is a simple program to set up and fully utilizes the eBay affiliation for some large money making potential.

SiteBuilder Elite

If you want to add Adsense websites to your arsenel, SiteBuilder Elite is probably the best program to use. It not only creates a standard adsense website with the typical content provided by RSS feeds with a click of the mouse, but allows a more creative and appealing site to be made with videos, pictures, and more. Everything is automated with the click of a mouse to target your subject matter for your adsense site.

Article Submitter

We found Article Submitter to be a true time saver. Content is King and Article Submitter is the king of article submission programs. To be able to repeatedly upload articles quickly to multiple sites without having to repeat the entry information for each of those sites is a huge benefit. If you rely on articles for page ranking and vistors to find you, this is a program you should take a serious look at.

PeelAway Ads

PeelAway Ads may never go out of style. We like it because it gets people’s attention without being annoying. Visitors often don’t bother with websites that throw pop-ups at you as soon as you land on their website. Pop-ups (and pop-unders) are most often just removed without the visitor even reading them. PeelAway ads take only a small corner of the page. They don’t interfere with the visitor and have an extremely high percentage of actually being seen, due to the visitors curiosity of wanting to see what peeling away the corner reveals. We have great success with this form of advertising.

Micro Niche Finder

For those who are looking for that niche of a market providing a decent amount of searches and little competition for your keywords in that niche, MicroNiche Finder is a great program to use. Providing videos and instructions on how to optimize your sites using keywords and other tools it provides, virtually everyone who has used the program finds it to be worth the small fee. We did.

WordTracker Keywords

We recommend this program as a great starter program for those who want to learn quickly. This is a program course with a monthly fee. The worth is in the knowledge gained from that membership and how much time you can devote to it for the purpose of learning. If you have the time, you may find that within a few months you no longer need the knowledge base they provide and can continue on your own. Of course, if you only have a few hours each week, the cost may be prohibitive and it might be more economical to read books instead.

SPECIAL MENTION - NEIL HARVEY

Neil Harvey is an internet marketer who actually developes and sells affiliate tools. This site uses one of the templates he developed. Recently, on 11/11/08, because of the stupidity of the person writing this, our site was down (more like broken) and was beyond our own technical expertise to fix the problem. When you put months of work and SEO into a site and see it crash, it is a gut-wrenching experience.

Out of desperation I contacted Neil through his support system. I was almost expecting an “I’m sorry, I can’t help you,” as it’s been some time since my last purchase. Whether it was Neil himself, or one of his staff, within 48 hours my support ticket was answered and this site was back up and running - looking exactly as it did before I screwed up the works.

This is where support plays an important factor in any tool you purchase. Is is a one time, “Thanks for your money, now don’t bother us.” Or, is a support system in place that will assist you, should you have a problem. In the case of Neil Harvey, I can only thank him by posting these short paragraphs of gratitude, as he did not accept my offer of payment.
